Description: 1798 Curtis Botanical Magazine print Erica Aitonia #429 aka Erica jasminiflora from South Africa from jstor: "A very distinct and handsome species; now, apparently, so rare, that we have heard of no collector since Niven's time, about the early part of the 19th century. Bentham placed it in a special section, Platyloma, but the grounds for separation from ยง Euryloma appear insufficient." Includes a copy of the text sheet print is about 5" x 8 1/2" and has light aging, but is quite fresh. The text sheet is a modern copy. The artist was Sydenham Edwards.
