BROWN, OILMAN, 28 Rood Ln, Fenchurch St, RARE ENGRAVED BILLHEAD BH1 A rare engraved billhead for Robert Brown, dated 12th August, 1771. Manuscript additions in ink, further ink additions to verso. Watermark can be seen at bottom edge when billhead is put up to light. Made out to Mr Gordon. Printed on paper docket, measuring 21cm by 17cm. In good condition as seen, some toning, old creases from folding, upper left corner with curved fold, the odd minor spot, verso with four glue / adhesion marks. An original 18th century billhead and not a later reproduction of any kind.
