In fair condition, boards are scuffed, bumped and chipped. Spine damage to bottom, raised boards scuffed. Marbled paper is dulled and dingy, textblock is unmarked but shows typical tanning and minor foxing. Please see photos! After completing his studies, La Louptiere came to settle in Paris, where he spent quiet days with friends. His verses are natural and easy, and had great success in the societies for which he composed them for. The public, however, was more severe with criticisms.
