He spent seven years in India, accompanied by his nephew William, also an artist, and published several series of aquatints of the country. Approximately 8 ½ inches tall (21.5cm). Condition Report Externally Spine – good condition – gilt titles to red and black leather labels, with five raised bands and gilt decoration, wear and marks, gilt to the red labels largely worn away, worn with loss to the top of the spines. Joints – good condition – rubbing and marks. Corners – good condition – bumped and worn. Boards – good condition – polished calf boards, marked and worn.
