Description: This is a scarce early free blown 1750s blackglass "flower pot" wine bottle that has the initials T S scratched into the side and an old provenace label on bottom that explains who T S was ....it has no embossing and no mold seams....Free blown...sharp open pontil in deep sunken bottom....sharp sheared lip with crude applied string collar.....dark olive green blackglass...round tapered cylinder with long neck....10 1/4"tall....Excellent condition with only a small chip on the edge of sharp sheared lip; no other damage. Some normal light wear.
