In 1647, it became "Duke d'Anjou" and was not given given the title of Orleans until 1660, where it became the property of the Duke of Orleans, Louis XIVth's brother. In 1665, it was brought up to strength with a company enrolled in 1648 under the name of "Sainte Cecile"; which became famous for its action in Catalonia. "Orleans Cavalerie" saw action and distinguished itself in every battle during the reign of Louis XIV: Flanders, The Palatinate, Holland, etc. In 1719, it formed part of the army in Spain. It took part in the War of Succession in Poland, served with honour in Italy and returned to France in 1763. In 1724, it became the property of the Regent's son, 3rd Duke of Orleans, where it remained with the family of Orleans until the revolution. In 1791, it became "13c de Cavlerie", and in 1809, the "22c Regiment de Dragoons".Ray Lamb (UK) made his name known by winning in 1973 at the BMSS with his "Chasseur à Cheval". Ray started sculpting some 75mm for Hinchliffe in 1973; also a Taisho Samourai in 150mm. In 1975, he founded his own "Poste Militaire" brand; creating mostly 90mm. Other sculptors included J. Hullis, D. Hansen, K. Durham, and Mike Good.Your shipment will arrive via USPS Priority Mail (1-4 business days) or USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days), after the 2-3 day processing time (upon paid purchase)Shipment(s) sent out of Lemon Grove, California, USAWE CAN COMBINE-SHIP - ASK US FIRST!Will be packed very well - READ OUR FEEDBACK!No Returns ***AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT AFTER PURCHASE, WHICH MAY REFLECT A MORE ACCURATE POSTAGE RATE FOR THIS ITEM - DON'T PASS THIS UP YET!
