Description: This is mostly the collection of a playing card salesman who worked mainly from the 1930's through 1950s and saved one of each from his samples. There are a few later that I added (mainly the hawaiian ones) and a couple more not shown. Most are in really nice shape but a few have punch holes from being on a sample ring- some have blank backs and maybe proofs. A number have lot numbers on the back for ordering written in pencil or stamped on them . Some of the older ones are in rougher shape so check sans they are all in trading card sleeved pages . Older ones often have some wear as in believe those he picked up and did not have for sale. There are advertising samples in here for Sylvannia etc and some WW 2 themed ones These are single cards. Some are pinups some are glamour or very stylized women . Artist s I recognize are Vargas , Petty , MacPherson, Moore , Elvgen, Bradshaw Crandall, Enabit,Christy, D'amario, A great way to get started collecting these in one lot.
