Identification of most will be obvious using the descriptions and picture as references. The few exceptions can be identified by applying power. Use a 1K Ohm resistor and a 6 to 9 VDC battery supply to test. The longer lead is usually the positive lead. 2) All LEDs are NOS, unused. Small parts seem to inexplicably jump out of sight when handling, so occasionally, in spite of our best efforts, counting errors still happen. It's time consuming and expensive to replace a missing or bad LED, so to offset possible DOAs or shortages, several unlisted extras (our choice) are included to ensure you get a minimum of 156 pieces, probably more.
