The agates have not been polished on the face, they have some visible cut marks, they have a few light fractures but are solid and stunning. The pictures do this pair no justice, they are truly amazing, the water we applied was evaporated quickly during our photography session, this can be seen in the pictures. This is a beautiful agate pair and would be an excellent addition to any lapidary project or it could be polished and used as a display piece. The item pictured is the item you will receive. We used a small amount of water to bring out the characteristics of the agate, no mineral oil has been applied. We try our best to capture on photo and describe all items to the best of our ability.
