Description: 14k Gold Fiery Natural Opal Diamond Chevron V Necklace October Birthstone 16" Click images to enlarge Description Offered today is a solid 14k gold estate opal chevron drop necklace, with a diamond accent. This is a designer-signed piece, but I am unable to read the signature (see photos). I did not try to clean the opals, as opals are fairly fragile gemstones--better to have a jeweler do it. Nevertheless, even without cleaning from the underside, they still have a TON OF FIRE! Opal is October's birthstone. The necklace features a chevron "V" centerpiece with one opal drop at the base. Six oval opals form a V, with a small diamond above the drop opal. The opals total between 3.00 and 3.50 ctw and they exhibit beautiful flashes of green, blue and orange. The chain is a 1.8 mm herringbone style and the necklace closes with a spring ring clasp. This necklace has 16" of wearable length including the opal centerpiece, which is 2" wide. It is hallmarked 14k 585 with the designer signature. It weighs 7.5 grams and is in excellent pre-owned condition.
