1/43 Lancia Stratos Alitalia Presentazione 1974 Arena #246 Factory Sealed MIOB

Description: I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! This one is a little out of my wheelhouse. I ran across a few of these remarkable multimedia kits from Arena Models of Italy. They have a fantastic reputation for quality and detail, so I took a chance and added some to my collection. The subjects seem very specific, almost obscure, to me, but I am not a ‘Rally car guy’. These have beautifully sculpted resin bodies and interiors, metal wheels, rubber tires, white metal and photo etched metal details, along with decals and plastic parts, in some cases. There is no engine (being a “curbside” model), but the interior is well detailed. The full name for this kit is the Lancia Stratos Alitalia Presentazione 1974. I could not find any listing for this kit on eBay (rare and hard-to-find), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you very quickly. Here is what I have found about this model: The Arena Models site (arenamodelli.com) has three pages dedicated to their many Lancia Stratos Alitalia models, but this specific kit does not appear. They only provide a single photo of each completed model anyway, so we are not missing much. According to their February 2023 catalog, it is still available. Scalemates.com has a listing for this kit, but there is no photo of the model or box art. They show dozens of similar releases with many new toolings over the years, but the exact pedigree of this kit is not clear. They have links to aftermarket products and some references, but there is no other information about this kit. This kit is in a colorful box about 6” x 3.5” x 2.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the box is pristine but was never sealed at the factory. I photographed the contents which were factory-sealed in stapled baggies or bubble-wrap before repackaging them and throwing on a tape strip, so it is now factory-sealed inside and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete multimedia model kit with resin, metal and photo etched components and clear plastic parts along with rubber parts and a small sheet of decals. As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
