Description: I have to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIIS MY LAST ONE! The Ford Crown Victoria has been the iconic Police Cruiser for a couple decades or more until it vanished in 2011. Fun Fact: all Crown Vics were made in Canada. This one looks like a First Generation that was made from 1992 to 1997, although I am not sure if it is a 100% accurate replication of any particular model year. This kit is a modern curbside model with a pre-decorated white body, colored lights and pre-painted accents. I found about a half-dozen listings for this kit on eBay (in a variety of conditions), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this to you quickly. Here are some of the details about this well-designed kit that I found from around the web: The Revell websites (revell.com and revell.de) no longer has a page for this kit, so I assume it has been Discontinued or is Out of Production. From other sources, I found the following information about the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and the kit features: The Crown Victoria sedan has been popular with police departments for over 25 years. It has many features that lend themselves to the needs of most police departments. It is a full-size sedan with a large enough rear seat to handle any prisoner. The Crown Vic, as it is known, continues to be rear-wheel drive, and this is desired by most police departments. It is powered by a V-8 engine that provides plenty of power for any chase situation. While most car companies have downsized their full-size sedans and switched to front-wheel drive, the Ford Crown Victoria continues to offer the men in blue what they need. • Completely assembles, no glue needed• Molded in four colors• Properly rolling wheels• Illustrated, multilingual building instructions Scalemates.com shows this (as #85-1685) is a new tooling from 2014, making it a fairly modern kit. There is a link to download the complete (and simple) 4-page instruction set, but no additional information about the kit or Crown Vics in general. Since the build was so quick (even with a few upgrades he made) and straightforward, there aren’t many tips for you here. He does provide about a dozen photos of the kit contents, his build in progress and the final product. As you would expect, his comments are also light-hearted, saying things like: “While this model is aimed directly towards kids, I found it a fun escape from my normal model interests.” This kit is in an attractive box about 9.5” x 4” x 4”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in great shape and still sealed with tape disks, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with 17 pre-decorated and clear plastic parts, metal axles, and a 4-page instruction book to bring this muscle car to life.
