'Golden Feathers' is a fast growing medium size canna with upright growth habit to 4-6 feet tall with deep green paddle-shaped leaves toped with flowering spikes of bright large orchid-like golden-yellow with orange throats blossoms rising above the foliage so they are easily seen and enjoyed summer to fall. Plant in full sun or light shade with regular irrigation. Hardy to zone 8. In our trials this canna proved to be a vigorous grower and prolific bloomer July through October in zone 7b. Give them full sun in somewhat wind sheltered location with hummus rich moist soil and these cannas will reward you with spikes of bright tangerine blooms.
