1/12 V-Twin Custom Thunder Chopper Aoshima #000670 or #88 Shrink Wrapped MISB

Description: I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! The Thunder Chopper certainly earns its name every time it rolls down the road. The unmistakable Harley sound blasts from its pipes for all to hear. Over a decade ago, Aoshima reboxed the classic IMAI kit from the 90s, but even these are almost impossible to find. They spiced things up with an exclusive tattoo design on the box art from Mr. Shin’s Heaven’s Door shop in Tokyo and a pin-up of some hot biker chicks inside the box. Previous versions of this kit from IMAI and IMEX describe this as a Harley-Davidson Thunder Chopper, but perhaps a licensing issue prevented Aoshima from using the Harley-Davidson name on this kit, but we know better. I only found a few listings for this kit on eBay (all from Japan), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have it in stock and can reliably ship this kit very quickly. Here is some of the info I found about this wonderful kit from around the web: The Aoshima site (aoshima-bk.co.jp) no longer shows this item, so I assume it has been Discontinued or is Out of Production. From other sources, I have found the following information about this hard-to-find kit: · Overall length: 235mm (9.25”)· Harley-Davidson Biker’s Way Magazine (Vibes Web) pin-up of Pipes Fox included Scalemates.com has a listing that shows this is a 2011 release based on the IMAI new tool from 1994 that has been released about a dozen times under the IMAI, IMEX and Aoshima brands. The site shows the box art and mentions that Aoshima also used Part Number 88 for this kit in some markets. The kit is in a large box about 13” x 8.5” x 3”. As you can see from the pictures, the kit is in pristine condition and is still in the original shrink wrap, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains highly detailed plastic and vinyl parts (and a few screws) to create an impressive replica of the iconic Harley-Davidson V-Twin Custom Thunder Chopper.
