Opal pear cabochon estimated at 5.00 carat.The opal dangles from the tourmaline.It is very difficult to capture the beauty of both stones at the same time but please look through the photos and see for yourself.The opal has beautiful colors and it moves, greens and blues and sometimes orange from the side. Very translucent.Total length is 1 3/4" x 3/8".7.6 grams total.Not stamped but test for 14 in our shop.This piece has been acid tested and verified for authenticity. As with most vintage and gold jewelry there is a slight variation in karat but not enough to significantly affect value. Actual karat may vary up to 1% depending on what area of the jewelry is tested.
