Description: This Neolithic knife is constructed from exotic and expensive Kingwood (Dalbergia cearensis) which is responsibly sourced from Brazil. It is only legal to sell small pieces of this wood, which is why it is so hard to come by. It has been coveted for centuries, for its exotic figure and stoutness. The wood is highly figured and has stripes of purple, brown and red. Overall it appears to be shades of purple. The serrated blade is knapped from a chunk of mesmerizing Royal Purple, which is a type of sheen Obsidian. It is translucent and when tilted the blade turns purple. It is hafted with black, artificial sinew and violet polycord. ***These are display knives! I would never use obsidian knives/spears for everyday indoor or outdoor use. Tiny pieces of obsidian could easily pierce skin or be consumed and could cause serious even fatal damage*** **All Knives & Spears are Modern Reproductions** Overall length, including blade and handle 10.25". Stand not included. Thank you!
