Description: For sale is a large collection of World War II newspaper headlines, mostly from the New Hampshire Manchester Union publication (with a few additions from other regional news sources). There are about 110 pieces included in the lot, ranging from January to June of 1945 with a couple of inclusions from October 1945: January: ~11February: ~15March: ~22April: ~25May: ~21June: ~14Oct: 2 Fair to good condition as shown - photos are of the exact lot of papers available for sale. Some tears and creases as well as age related discoloration. These were folded at least one additional time so most of these have a crease down the middle in addition to the normal paper fold. A few instances of articles/images being clipped. Most of these have original stickers with the name of the recipient who was actually in the Pacific theater in the Navy during the war (and whos estate these come from). For the most part this is a collection of headlines only with many having been cut from the rest of the paper, but there are also some full pages (front and back of the first section) and some more complete papers in the mix. There are a few notes and doodles here and there as well. Please let me know if you have any more specific questions about the lot and I will do my best to answer - photos are limited and this is a large collection so feel free to reach out. I have a number of other postings with different newspapers from World War II from the same estate as this - please let me know if you are interested in a combined purchase.
