However, the dandelion is a SUPERB plant.The dandelion is excellent for loosening heavier soil structure with its taproot that also mines minerals and can store them in its tissues.The young dandelion leaves are excellent in salads, and is commonly used in European cuisine, and is also rich in antioxidants.
