Other eBay account: (stonexrx) Such a unique mix! The pictured solid black roo is Altair- he is a purebred Rare Svart Hona (aka Swedish Black Hen). The golden toned roo (Leo) is a Mille Fleur D'uccle and Silkie mix. The hens in this specific flock are Mille Fleur D'uccle + Silkies mix Hens, Svart Hona Hens (Rare Swedish Black Hen), Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Mystic Onyx and Silkie hens. My flock spends the daylight hours free-ranging and interacting with dogs + humans. This keeps them happy, healthy and friendly. It is possible to hatch chicks with fluffy Silkie feathers or smooth Mille Fleur, Wyandotte, Mystic Onyx + Svart Hona feathers. Baby chicks will more than likely have feathered feet and the classic 5 toes, just like silkies have. Colors I most often see in those who have hatched eggs from my flock are a mixture of silver, white, gold and black. Iridescent feathers are also very common. Eggs are collected everyday and shipped via Priority mail to ensure quick delivery. Eggs are shipped in the order payment is received and come straight from the coop to shipping box. Each egg is individually wrapped and secured with padding. I also include one or two extras. Just because an egg does not develop, does not mean it is not fertile. There are many factors out of my control once the eggs leave my possession. Hatch rates are not guaranteed, as there are many issues that can arise during shipment that can prevent viable eggs from developing (x-rays, temperature, scrambling, detached air cells, etc). If you are not comfortable with the risks involved in having eggs shipped, please do not buy - or - consider local pickup, thank you for understanding! Once your eggs arrive, place them pointed side down in an egg carton at room temperature and allow them to sit for 24 hours BEFORE placing them in the incubator.
