Description: This is a vintage Japanese Kutani ware sake cup called a "guinomi". Printed in the classic style of Kutani ware and marked "Kutani". This cup features colorful scene with characters likely from the Heikei Monogatari (Tail of the Heikei) a famous nonfiction account of the birth of the Shogunate in Japan. All the line work is overlaid with gold. Measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 3" tall (6.5 x 7.5 cm). This tea cup is in fine condition.This sake cup is available in quantity up to five.
