Description: I have for sale 1 Pretty Strand of Pebble Shaped Charoite gemstone beads. The beads are 5-7 * 6-8 mm in size. The strand is approx. 40 cm's.Charoite is an extremely rare mineral that is found exclusively in the Sakha Republic in Siberia, Russia. It is said that the terrain and weather in this region are so difficult that miners must be flown into the site by helicopter! While some suggest that charoite is named after the Chara River in Siberia, others suggest that the name comes from the Russian word “chary”, meaning “charms” or “magic”.These charoite beads display pearly, chatoyant swirls of pink, lavender, violet, and silvery grey. Charoite also often contains inclusions of the golden yellow mineral Tinkasite. I will combine postage for items purchased within 7 days of first purchase. Each additional item will cost $0.25. I appreciate payment to be made within 5 days of purchase.
